How to get ABSA’s official conveyancer list

Banks keep their conveyancer panels private to avoid outdated info circulating online. ABSA staff can email you the latest Cape Town panel names if you:

  1. Call ABSA Home Loans — 0860 111 007 (within South Africa) and request the conveyancing panel for the Western Cape.
  2. Visit an ABSA branch — Business bankers and home loan consultants can print the updated list for you.
  3. Ask your bond originator (e.g., ooba, BetterBond) or estate agent—they work off the latest bank panel lists daily.
  4. You can only email ABSA Home Loans at  homeloans@absa.co.za
if your email address is on its list of allowed senders. In your email, specify you are looking for ABSA’s panel of conveyancers for Cape Town.
